Candidate Pay Rate: $54 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, and implement respiratory care for pediatric patients
- Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and chest physiotherapy
- Manage and monitor mechanical ventilators, adjusting settings as needed
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
- Document patient responses and modify treatment plans accordingly
- Educate patients and families on respiratory conditions and home care techniques
Qualifications
- Current Oregon Respiratory Therapist license (or compact eligibility)
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
- ACLS and PALS certifications strongly preferred
- Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy program
- Previous pediatric or critical care respiratory experience preferred
- Availability to work flexible per diem shifts, including rotating schedules
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of respiratory therapy principles and practices
- Proficiency in ventilator management and airway support
- Excellent assessment and critical thinking skills
- Compassionate bedside manner with pediatric patients and families
- Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team
- Strong documentation and communication skills
