Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate respiratory care to pediatric patients
• Assess and monitor patient respiratory status, adjusting care as needed
• Administer respiratory treatments, oxygen therapy, and ventilator support
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to create and implement patient care plans
• Educate patients and families on respiratory therapies and home care
• Document patient responses accurately and maintain compliance with safety standards

Qualifications

• Active Respiratory Therapist license in Ohio
• BLS certification required; PALS preferred
• Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy program
• New graduates welcome; pediatric experience a plus
• Strong clinical and critical thinking skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of respiratory care equipment and treatments
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and patient education skills
• Familiarity with pediatric respiratory best practices
• Proficient in electronic health record documentation
• Detail-oriented with a compassionate approach
