Location: Bismarck, North Dakota

End Date: 09-28-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM and 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $65 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert respiratory care across neonatal to geriatric populations
Manage ventilators and advanced respiratory equipment with precision
Collaborate closely with physicians to deliver outstanding patient outcomes
Cover all areas of the facility including ICU, NICU, surgical, and medical units
Make independent clinical judgments that truly impact patient lives
Support Level II trauma patients with compassionate, skilled care

Qualifications

Current RRT or CRT credential required
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
Active North Dakota state respiratory therapy license
Proven NICU experience essential for success in this role
Ability to work independently and exercise sound clinical judgment

Knowledge & Skills

Ventilator management with PB 840, PB 980, Hamilton C1, and MR1
High-flow therapy using Airvo and V-60 Respironics systems
Care across all patient populations from neonates to geriatrics
Strong clinical decision-making and independent practice skills
Collaborative approach with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
