Respiratory Therapist
Location: Bismarck, North Dakota

Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM and 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $65 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide expert respiratory care across neonatal to geriatric patients in a Level II trauma center
- Deliver specialized NICU respiratory support while collaborating closely with physicians
- Manage advanced ventilators and respiratory equipment including PB 980 and Hamilton C1
- Cover all hospital areas including ICU, ER, surgical, and medical units with independence and clinical judgment
- Build meaningful relationships with a friendly, multidisciplinary team that respects RT expertise
Qualifications
- Current RRT or CRT credential required
- BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
- Active North Dakota state respiratory therapy license
- Proven NICU experience essential
- Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong ventilator management skills across multiple platforms
- Comfortable working with neonates through geriatrics
- Excellent clinical judgment and independent decision-making
- Collaborative approach with physicians and care teams
- Adaptable across inpatient, ER, ICU, and surgical settings
