Location: Vacaville, California

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Sunday-Thursday, 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $48 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate psychiatric care to patients in a medical setting
Monitor and document patient behavior and mental health status
Administer medications and assist with therapeutic interventions
Collaborate with nursing and clinical teams to support treatment plans
Maintain accurate patient records using Cerner and Point of Care systems
Support patients through orientation, training, and daily care routines

Qualifications

Current LPT license in California
Strong communication and behavioral charting skills
Ability to complete required trainings including Nursing Orientation, Cerner, and Point of Care
Willingness to start ASAP and commit to a 27-week assignment

Knowledge & Skills

Psychiatric patient care and safety protocols
Electronic health record systems (Cerner)
Behavioral observation and documentation
Medication administration and clinical support
Team collaboration in a fast-paced medical environment
