Roles & Responsibilities

• Welcome and check in patients with warmth and professionalism
• Assist providers during urology clinic procedures with skill and attention to safety
• Educate patients about procedures, post-care instructions, and self-care expectations
• Perform triage to prioritize patient needs and escalate concerns appropriately
• Schedule and coordinate procedures and follow-up appointments to keep care running smoothly
• Document encounters accurately in the electronic medical record and support the Athena to Epic conversion
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary clinic team to deliver patient-centered care

Qualifications

• Current Colorado RN license in good standing
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Minimum of 2 years RN clinic or ambulatory urology experience
• Experience with Epic required; familiarity with Athena is a plus
• Strong communication skills and a patient-focused approach

Knowledge & Skills

• Ambulatory care nursing and clinic workflow knowledge
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health records
• Triage assessment and prioritization skills
• Procedural assistance and infection control practices
• Patient education techniques and clear documentation
• Scheduling and care coordination in an outpatient setting
• HIPAA awareness and professional bedside manner
