Registered Nurse - Telemetry
Location: Prescott, Arizona

Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Monitor cardiac telemetry and interpret dysrhythmia strips each shift
- Provide compassionate care for patients with CHF, respiratory conditions, GI issues, and post-cath recovery
- Collaborate with charge nurses and house supervisors to ensure seamless patient care
- Float to East Campus and PCU units when needed, expanding your clinical skills
- Support patients through total joint replacement recovery with specialized attention
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation experience
- Ability to pass dysrhythmia exam with 80% score within two attempts
- Cerner experience preferred for quick onboarding
Knowledge & Skills
- Reading and interpreting basic telemetry strips
- Experience with CVA and TIA patients
- Total joint replacement care knowledge
- Comfort managing set-rate drips like Diltiazem/Cardizem
- Strong assessment and communication skills
