Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $57 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care for patients awaiting placement from the emergency department
- Monitor cardiac telemetry and interpret dysrhythmias with confidence
- Titrate cardiac drips including Cardizem, Heparin, and Amiodarone per physician orders
- Collaborate with the care team to ensure seamless transitions for patients moving to med/surg/tele units
- Support ED staff with vitals, IV starts, and medication administration when needed
- Float to med/surg/tele and overflow units across campuses as census requires
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong cardiac telemetry background preferred with at least 2 years experience
- Ability to pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to start (2 attempts allowed)
- Comfortable with a pass/fail SIM lab on day one of orientation
Knowledge & Skills
- Cardiac telemetry monitoring and strip interpretation
- Titratable drips including Cardizem, Heparin, and Amiodarone
- Dysrhythmia recognition and management
- Patient assessment and clinical decision-making
- Floating across multiple units and campuses
