Location: West Valley, Utah

Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM, at least every third weekend
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care to adult behavioral health patients in a 26-bed inpatient unit
- Support patients aged 55+ with conditions like dementia and bipolar disorder
- Collaborate with the care team to ensure safe, therapeutic environments
- Float to med-surg and OB units when needed, bringing your versatile skills
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow all safety protocols
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Utah or compact state
- BLS certification required
- Prior psych experience preferred
- Willingness to float outside of psych highly valued
Knowledge & Skills
- Behavioral health nursing expertise
- Strong communication and de-escalation skills
- Ability to work with geriatric populations
- Flexibility to float across units
