Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, family-centered care to critically ill children in the PICU
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, respond to changes promptly
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team for optimal patient outcomes
• Educate and support families through challenging times

Qualifications

• Active California RN license required
• Minimum 1 year of recent PICU experience preferred
• Current BLS and PALS certifications
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment

Education

• Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in pediatric critical care nursing
• Proficiency with ventilators, IV pumps, and monitoring equipment
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach
• Adaptability and quick decision-making
