Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess and interpret patient evaluations to develop customized treatment plans in consultation with physicians
• Administer manual exercises, therapeutic activities, and assistive devices to improve functional ability
• Provide physical therapy treatments including massages, traction, hydrotherapy, and ultrasound
• Evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Complete discharge planning with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare workers
• Design home exercise programs and educate patients and families for continued care
• Document patient care services accurately in records
• Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to infection-control policies
• Ensure equipment operation through preventive maintenance and troubleshooting
• Stay current with professional knowledge through workshops and publications

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapy license in the state of Colorado
• BLS certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist
• Strong communication and documentation skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of principles and methods for diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation
• Understanding of human behavior and performance
• Customer service and patient care skills
• Knowledge of English language and grammar
• Ability to design and implement home exercise programs
