Roles & Responsibilities

• Support the mission and values of Covenant Health Ministry in a collaborative environment
• Scrub in and assist during Cardiac Cath Lab and Special Procedures
• Pan heart catheters and evaluate images to ensure diagnostic quality
• Perform special procedures radiography using appropriate equipment
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and prepared procedural area
• Position and prep patients, set up equipment for all procedures
• Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures
• Report any unusual reactions or conditions to the nurse promptly

Qualifications

• Must have at least 3 years of Cath Lab experience and be able to take call
• Current NH ARRT license required
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
• Completion of a certificate or degree course in radiologic technology

Education

• Completion of a certificate or degree course in radiologic technology

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in Radiologic Technology and Cath Lab procedures
• Skilled in scrubbing, running X-ray equipment, and panning heart catheters
• Experience with sterile technique and patient positioning
• Competent in evaluating images for diagnostic quality
• Familiarity with Balloon Pump and Impella is a plus
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced procedural environment
