Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform general nuclear medicine examinations, including therapeutic procedures and PET/CT patient exams
• Assist Radiologists and medical staff during exams and procedures
• Complete documentation for proper interpretation, reporting, archiving, and retrieval of exams
• Verify orders and related health information to ensure timely performance and reporting
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives as described in the strategic plan
• Handle radioactive materials in compliance with state and federal regulations

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CAHEA accredited program or equivalent
• ARRT(N) or NMTCB certification
• American Heart Association BLS certification
• One year of post-graduate work experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist preferred

Education

• Graduate of an Allied Health Education and Accreditation (CAHEA) accredited program or equivalent

• Ability to learn new computer applications quickly
• Organizational skills to manage multiple deadlines
