Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, family-centered care to critically ill pediatric patients
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
• Monitor and assess patients' conditions, responding to changes with expertise
• Educate and support families during their child's hospital stay
• Administer medications and treatments according to protocols
• Document accurate patient records and report findings to physicians

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts
• BLS and PALS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of recent PICU or pediatric critical care experience
• Strong assessment and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment

Education

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) accepted with experience

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in pediatric critical care nursing
• Proficiency in IV insertion, medication administration, and ventilator management
• Knowledge of pediatric developmental and family-centered care
• Critical thinking and rapid decision-making abilities
• Team collaboration and patient advocacy
