Location: Pembroke, North Carolina

Contract Type: Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM; 4 nights one week / 3 nights the next (every other week). Night shift
Candidate Pay Rate: $41 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during 12-hour night shifts
- Perform thorough head-to-toe assessments and communicate clinical changes promptly
- Administer medications and treatments safely and document accurately
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Maintain clear, timely electronic medical record documentation
- Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care
- Respond to urgent situations and escalate concerns to providers as needed
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS preferred
- Comfortable working 12-hour night shifts with an alternating 4/3 schedule
- Clinical experience in acute care or a relevant nursing area preferred
- Strong communication, prioritization, and teamwork skills
Education
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Medication administration and IV therapy competency
- Comfortable with electronic medical records and accurate documentation
- Ability to triage, prioritize, and respond effectively during busy night shifts
- Team-focused approach and clear verbal/written communication
