Registered Nurse - PCU/MedSurg/Oncology
Location: Omaha, Nebraska

Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate, high-quality care to oncology and trauma patients across PCU and MedSurg levels
- Administer chemotherapy and manage complex medication drips including heparin and cardizem
- Monitor ventilators and perform advanced hemodynamic assessments to keep patients stable
- Collaborate with an amazing multidisciplinary team of PT/OT, case managers, and educators
- Float within similar units to support your fellow nurses and ensure excellent patient outcomes
- Champion hourly rounding and patient experience initiatives that make a real difference
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy certification required
- Minimum 1 year of PCU or oncology nursing experience
- First-time travelers welcome with strong foundational skills
- Valid driver's license to confirm travel radius compliance
Knowledge & Skills
- Chemotherapy administration and oncology nursing expertise
- Ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring (CVP, A-line, Swan-Ganz, EV-1000)
- ICP monitoring and titration of insulin and cardizem drips
- EPIC electronic medical record experience preferred
- Strong teamwork, cultural sensitivity, and genuine patient advocacy
