Registered Nurse - PCU/MedSurg/Oncology
Location: Omaha, Nebraska
Start Date: 06-22-2026
End Date: 09-21-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality care to oncology and trauma PCU patients
- Monitor and manage titratable drips including insulin and cardizem
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support patients from diagnosis through remission
- Float to same-level PCU and MedSurg units as needed to support patient care
- Perform hourly rounding to enhance patient experience and safety
- Administer chemotherapy and other specialized medications with precision and care
Qualifications
- Active RN license with at least 1 year of PCU or oncology experience
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
- ONS/ONCC certification preferred
- Experience with EPIC EMR within the last 6 months is helpful but not required
- Willingness to work with diverse patient populations and cultural backgrounds

- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
- Comfort with ventilators and hemodynamic monitoring equipment
- Ability to titrate drips and manage complex patient needs
- Proficiency with EPIC charting system
- Understanding of oncology and trauma patient care pathways
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced mixed unit
