Location: Centennial, Colorado

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, schedules released 4-6 weeks in advance

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care across multiple PCU/IMC specialties including cardiac, neuro, oncology, and trauma
Manage and titrate cardiac drips, insulin, Ativan, and heparin with confidence and precision
Float throughout Zone 1 facilities to support patient care needs across a 60-mile radius
Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient outcomes
Adapt quickly to varying patient ratios of 1:3-4 based on acuity levels
Support patients from adults through geriatrics with diverse diagnoses and post-surgical needs

Qualifications

Active RN license in Colorado or compact license
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of PCU/IMC experience
Comfortable managing cardiac drips, insulin, Ativan, and heparin
Epic experience preferred, neuro experience a plus

Knowledge & Skills

Strong cardiac drip management and titration skills
Experience with insulin, Ativan, and heparin protocols
Ability to float across multiple specialties and facilities
Excellent adaptability and communication skills
Comfort working with Epic electronic health records
