Location: Centennial, Colorado

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, schedules released 4-6 weeks in advance

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to adult and geriatric patients across multiple specialties including cardiac, neuro, oncology, and trauma
Manage and titrate cardiac drips including dopamine, dobutamine, cardizem, and amiodarone
Monitor and adjust insulin, heparin, and ativan drips based on patient response
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient outcomes
Float throughout Zone 1 facilities to support staffing needs and gain diverse clinical experience
Maintain accurate documentation using Epic electronic health record system

Qualifications

Active RN license in Colorado or compact license
Minimum 2 years of PCU/IMC experience required
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
Comfortable with cardiac drip titration and management
Experience with insulin, ativan, and heparin administration preferred
Prior neuro experience and Epic familiarity are a plus

Knowledge & Skills

Strong cardiac monitoring and drip management skills
Ability to adapt quickly to different units and patient populations
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Comfort working with ratios of 1:3-4 depending on acuity
Flexibility to float within a 60-mile radius zone
