Location: Bismarck, North Dakota

Start Date: 06-29-2026

End Date: 09-28-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Mixed 8 and 12 hour shifts with start times including 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, 8:30 AM - 9:00 PM, and 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM, plus on-call coverage from 6:30 PM - 9:00 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional Phase 1 and Phase 2 recovery care for patients of all ages
Monitor and support pediatric patients with compassion and specialized attention
Collaborate with the care team to ensure safe transitions from the operating room
Float to inpatient units as a helping hand when needed, showcasing your versatility
Respond to on-call needs within 30 minutes to support your patients and team

Qualifications

Active RN license with BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
Minimum 3 years of PACU experience preferred
Experience recovering pediatric patients is essential
EPIC EMR experience strongly preferred
Ability to handle higher acuity patients including those on vents and pressors

Knowledge & Skills

Strong pediatric recovery expertise
Phase 1 and Phase 2 recovery knowledge
Comfort working with patients who have disabilities
Excellent teamwork and communication abilities
Flexibility to float and support various units
