Location: Grand Island, Nebraska

End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM with 1 night per week on call and every 5th or 6th weekend on call

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $71 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional perioperative care across all surgical specialties in a collaborative OR environment
Prepare patients and operating rooms for procedures ranging from neurosurgery to robotic-assisted cases
Collaborate with surgeons and the surgical team to ensure safe, efficient procedures every day
Float to Pre/Post op, PACU, or ER trauma when needed, showcasing your versatility and adaptability
Educate and mentor fellow staff while maintaining the highest standards of patient safety

Qualifications

Active RN license and current BLS & ACLS certifications
Strong experience across multiple surgical service lines including neurosurgery
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment without specialized teams
Willingness to participate in rotating call and weekend coverage
Ability to pass an open-book skills exam with a 90 percent score during orientation

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in OR nursing and surgical procedures across all service lines
Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records
Familiarity with neurosurgery, ENT, orthopedic, GYN, general surgery, and DaVinci robotics
Strong teamwork and flexibility to adapt to daily schedule changes
Commitment to patient safety and a collaborative work culture
