Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:00 AM - 7:00 PM, with approximately 120 hours of call per contract in rotation with staff

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional perioperative care across a variety of surgical specialties including General, ENT, Neuro, Spine, Ortho, and Robotics
Collaborate with surgeons and the surgical team to ensure safe, efficient procedures
Monitor patients throughout the surgical process and respond quickly to any changes
Serve as a resource and mentor when charge nurse duties arise
Maintain accurate documentation using Epic electronic medical records

Qualifications

Active RN license in Colorado or compact license
BLS certification required
Minimum one year of OR nursing experience with demonstrated Trauma and Neuro cases
Charge nurse experience preferred but not required
Epic EMR experience highly valued

Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and sterile technique
Ability to remain calm and focused in high-acuity trauma situations
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Comfortable with 30-minute call response time
Flexible and willing to float within Zone 1 facilities when needed
