Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:00 AM - 7:00 PM, with approximately 120 hours of call per contract in rotation with staff

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional perioperative care across a variety of surgical specialties including General, ENT, Neuro, Spine, Ortho, and Robotics
Collaborate with surgeons and the surgical team to ensure safe, efficient procedures
Respond to trauma and neuro cases with confidence and skill
Serve as a reliable resource during call rotations, providing critical support when needed most
Maintain accurate documentation in Epic while delivering compassionate patient care

Qualifications

Active RN license in Colorado or compact license
BLS certification required
Minimum one year of OR nursing experience with demonstrated Trauma and Neuro expertise
Charge nurse experience is a plus but not required
Epic EMR experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge of operating room protocols and sterile technique
Ability to handle high-acuity trauma and neuro cases
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Quick decision-making under pressure
Comfortable with call responsibilities and 30-minute response time
