Location: Carbondale, IL
Start Date: 07-13-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Flexible 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week, with on-call rotation as required
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess patients to determine mental, physical, and spiritual needs
- Develop and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
- Provide clear explanations and instructions to patients and families
- Use clinical judgment to recognize and report changes in patient condition
- Contribute to a healthy workplace by managing conflict with professional communication
- Maintain complete and accurate medical records
Qualifications
- Current Illinois Registered Nurse license required
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- ACLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of Operating Room experience
- Ability to work 10-hour shifts and participate in on-call rotation
Knowledge & Skills
- Expertise in Operating Room nursing
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Proficient in Point Click EMR
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
