Registered Nurse - Neuro Telemetry
Location: Chandler, Arizona

Contract Type: Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality care to neuro and telemetry patients on a 26-bed unit
- Monitor and interpret EKGs while delivering expert cardiac and neurological nursing care
- Collaborate with hospitalists, charge nurses, and respiratory therapists to optimize patient outcomes
- Educate and support patients and families through complex diagnoses like CVA and pulmonary conditions
- Respond quickly and confidently during high-flow oxygen and Airvo interventions
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
- Minimum 2 years of recent telemetry or neuro experience within the past 6 months
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Strong EKG interpretation skills
- Ability to pass Prophecy Dysrhythmia Exam (2 attempts max) and Sim Lab on day one
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient with centralized telemetry monitoring and EKG interpretation
- Comfortable managing vents such as Airvo and High Flow oxygen
- Skilled in caring for neuro, CVA, pulmonary, and general telemetry patients
- Works well within a 1:3-4 nurse-to-patient ratio alongside PCT support
