Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Float between MedSurg Tele and PCU units across both campuses, providing compassionate care to a variety of patients
Manage and titrate critical drips including Heparin, Cardizem, Amiodarone, Nitro, Dopamine, Dobutamine, and Insulin
Interpret cardiac rhythms and respond promptly to patient needs in stepdown and telemetry settings
Collaborate with charge nurses and nursing assistants to deliver safe, high-quality care
Support post-cardiac cath, CABG, ortho, and geriatric patients through every stage of recovery

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 1 year of recent PCU experience
Comfortable managing multiple titratable drips and interpreting dysrhythmia strips
Must pass dysrhythmia exam with 80% or higher within two attempts before contract start

Knowledge & Skills

Strong cardiac rhythm interpretation and dysrhythmia management
Experience with CPAP, BiPAP, and heated high-flow oxygen therapy
Ability to adapt quickly to different units and patient populations
Excellent communication and teamwork in a float pool environment
