Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, rotating schedule with weekend coverage (6-9 weekend shifts per 6-week cycle)

Hours per Week: 48

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional care to a diverse adult and geriatric patient population across multiple units
  • Monitor telemetry and assess cardiac, neuro, oncology, and post-surgical patients with skill and compassion
  • Float between facilities within a 60-mile zone, adapting quickly to new environments and teams
  • Titrate heparin drips and manage patients with varying acuity levels, including ICU holds
  • Collaborate with designated charge nurses and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes
  • Document accurately in EPIC and step in as a CNA if ever needed - teamwork makes the dream work

Qualifications

  • Active RN license in Colorado or a compact state - we'll help if you need to apply
  • Minimum of 2 years of MS-Tele experience required
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (AHA required)
  • Previous neuro experience preferred, but not required
  • Ability to commit to a 13-week contract and float within a 60-mile radius
  • EPIC charting experience is a plus - charting made easy

Knowledge & Skills

  • Strong telemetry monitoring and interpretation skills
  • Proficiency in EPIC charting and documentation
  • Excellent critical thinking and quick decision-making in fast-paced environments
  • Adaptability and flexibility to thrive in float pool roles
  • Compassionate communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
  • Confidence in titrating drips and managing acute changes in patient status
