Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate daily care to residents, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and meals
• Monitor and document vital signs, and report any changes in condition to nursing staff
• Support residents with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure safety and comfort
• Engage with residents to promote dignity, independence, and a positive living environment
• Collaborate with the care team to maintain accurate records and follow care plans

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in New Mexico
• Current BLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• Must have completed COVID-19 vaccination series or present a documented religious or medical exemption
• Valid state or federal issued photo ID for registry placement
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable team player

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of patient safety and infection control protocols
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to accurately document patient care and observations
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow care plans
• Physical stamina to handle 12-hour shifts and assist with patient mobility
