Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents assisting with daily living activities such as bathing dressing and eating
• Take and record vital signs and promptly report any changes to the nursing team
• Help residents with mobility transfers and positioning to ensure their safety and comfort
• Maintain a clean safe and welcoming environment for residents and staff
• Support residents emotional well-being through companionship and active listening
• Collaborate with nurses and other caregivers to deliver high-quality personalized care

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Pennsylvania
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
• Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is a plus
• A compassionate patient and dependable nature
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist with resident transfers

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic nursing procedures and personal hygiene practices
• Skill in using vital signs equipment such as blood pressure cuffs and thermometers
• Understanding of infection control and safety protocols
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow care plans and document care accurately
