Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate daily care to residents, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating
• Take and record vital signs, promptly reporting any changes to the nursing team
• Help residents with mobility, transfers, and repositioning to ensure their comfort and safety
• Support a clean, safe environment by following infection prevention and safety protocols
• Document care accurately and communicate effectively with the care team

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Pennsylvania
• Current BLS/CPR certification or the ability to obtain it before starting
• Compassionate, dependable, and genuinely interested in helping others
• Ability to follow care plans, take direction, and work as part of a team
• Must present a valid state or federal ID to the facility for identification as required

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic nursing assistant techniques and personal care best practices
• Comfort using vital signs equipment and documenting in health records
• Understanding of infection control and safety procedures
• Strong communication skills to connect with residents, families, and colleagues
• Time management and adaptability in a dynamic care environment
