Candidate Pay Rate: $19 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Take and record vital signs, reporting any changes to the nursing team
- Support patients with mobility and transferring, ensuring safety and dignity
- Assist with meals and hydration, monitoring intake and nutritional status
- Maintain a clean, comfortable, and safe patient environment
- Document patient care accurately and communicate effectively with the care team
Qualifications
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Maine
- Current BLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association preferred)
- Compassionate, patient-focused attitude with strong communication skills
- Ability to follow care plans and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- COVID-19 vaccination or documented medical/religious exemption (per facility policy)
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of basic patient care principles and safety protocols
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to document accurately
- Teamwork and ability to take direction from nurses
- Empathy and patience when caring for residents
- Time management and organizational skills
