Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Day shift)
Hours per Week: 35
Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional abilities to create personalized treatment plans
- Implement therapeutic activities that help patients regain independence in daily living
- Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other therapists to ensure holistic care
- Document patient progress and adjust interventions to meet evolving goals
- Educate patients and caregivers on techniques to continue progress at home
- Support discharge planning by recommending adaptive equipment and home modifications
Qualifications
- Active Occupational Therapist license in Maine or compact privilege
- NBCOT certification required or in progress
- Prior experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or rehab settings preferred
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Knowledge & Skills
- Clinical knowledge of occupational therapy assessments and interventions
- Understanding of Medicare and insurance documentation requirements
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Knowledge of adaptive equipment and assistive technology
- Patient-centered approach with strong empathy and active listening
