Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during overnight hours
• Monitor patients' clinical status and respond promptly to changes
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document care thoroughly
• Collaborate with the MST team and interdisciplinary colleagues for coordinated care
• Perform assessments, interventions, and patient education to support recovery
• Escalate concerns and communicate clear handoffs at shift change

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in California (or compact license where applicable)
• Experience working in MST or mobile/support team environments preferred
• BLS required; ACLS and other certifications helpful depending on unit
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work overnight shifts and adapt to per diem scheduling

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Completion of accredited nursing program and successful NCLEX-RN licensure

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of acute nursing assessment and intervention
• Familiarity with electronic health records and accurate documentation
• Skilled in medication administration and infection control practices
• Comfortable with patient education and family communication
• Ability to triage effectively and prioritize care during busy shifts
