Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care overnight to ensure continuity and safety
• Perform thorough assessments, document findings, and communicate changes to the care team
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and in line with protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and discharge planning
• Respond promptly to emergencies and escalate concerns to providers as needed
• Advocate for patients and families while maintaining professional standards

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in California (required)
• BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS preferred or available soon after hire
• Prior acute care or relevant clinical experience preferred
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently during night shifts and as part of a collaborative team

Education

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
• BSN preferred but ADN holders with strong clinical experience are encouraged to apply

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of bedside nursing practices, medication administration, and basic procedures
• Familiarity with electronic health records and accurate documentation
• Skilled in patient assessment, triage, and prioritization in a fast-paced setting
• Comfortable with bedside technology and monitoring equipment
• Cultural sensitivity and patient advocacy skills
