Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient assessments and document findings clearly and promptly
• Administer medications and treatments safely according to policy and physician orders
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team members to ensure continuity and quality
• Respond to patient needs and emergent situations with calm, confident clinical action
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions
• Maintain accurate, timely electronic charting and handoffs at shift change

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California required
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Prior acute care or med/surg experience preferred
• Ability to work overnight shifts and provide compassionate, patient-centered care
• Up-to-date immunizations and the ability to pass background and drug screening

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
• BSN preferred but not required

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and triage skills
• Medication administration and IV therapy competency
• Experience with electronic health records and clear documentation
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Time management and prioritization in fast-paced settings
