Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients on the Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit
• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions, vital signs, and responses to treatment
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop individualized care plans
• Educate patients and families about health conditions and discharge instructions
• Respond quickly to changes in patient status, prioritizing safety at all times

Qualifications

• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• ACLS certification preferred
• Previous med-surg or telemetry experience is a plus
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of medical-surgical nursing principles
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and charting
• Excellent patient assessment and clinical decision-making skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
• Effective time management and multitasking skills
• Patient-centered and compassionate approach to care
