Location: Bismarck, North Dakota

Start Date: 06-29-2026

End Date: 09-28-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend and holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate cardiac and telemetry nursing care to adult and geriatric patients
Monitor and interpret cardiac strips while managing PCU-level patients
Titrate cardiac drips including Amiodarone, Cardizem, Heparin, Nitro, Nipride, and Lasix
Collaborate with the care team to manage patients recovering from cardiac caths, EP studies, and pacemakers
Support patients with acute and chronic conditions including sepsis, pneumonia, and COVID-related respiratory needs
Float to PCU, med-surg, and ER boarding areas as a valued team member

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota or compact license
BLS and ACLS certifications required
PCU experience with proven ability to read and interpret cardiac strips
Comfortable titrating cardiac drips and managing telemetry patients
Epic experience preferred but not required
Open to first-time travelers

Knowledge & Skills

Strong cardiac rhythm interpretation and telemetry monitoring
Safe drip titration for cardiac and vasoactive medications
BiPAP, trach, and Airvo equipment management
Excellent assessment and critical thinking skills
Ability to float between PCU, med-surg, and ER boarding areas
