Location: Bismarck, North Dakota

Start Date: 06-29-2026

End Date: 09-28-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend and holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate cardiac and telemetry nursing care to adult and geriatric patients
Monitor and interpret cardiac strips while managing PCU-level patients
Titrate cardiac drips including Amiodarone, Cardizem, Heparin, Nitro, Nipride, and Lasix
Collaborate with the care team to deliver high-quality outcomes for cardiac cath, EP study, and pacemaker patients
Support patients with complex needs including COVID BiPAP, sepsis, pneumonia, and acute on chronic conditions
Float to PCU, med-surg, and ER boarding areas as a valued helping hand across the facility

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota or compact license
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum one year of PCU experience with proven ability to read and interpret cardiac strips
Comfortable with first-time travelers and Epic documentation
Willingness to float to PCU, med-surg, and ER boarding assignments

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry and cardiac monitoring expertise
Proficient in drip titration and strip interpretation
Strong assessment skills for cardiac and medical-surgical overflow patients
Ability to manage BiPAP, trach, and Airvo equipment
Excellent communication and teamwork across multiple units
