Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to Med/Surg patients
• Monitor vital signs and assess patient conditions, reporting changes promptly
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and adjust care plans
• Educate patients and families on health management and discharge instructions
• Maintain thorough documentation and uphold the highest safety standards

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted RN license in Tennessee (compact license accepted)
• Current BLS certification (AHA preferred)
• Previous Med/Surg nursing experience is preferred but not required
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing patient needs

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of medical-surgical nursing practices and protocols
• Skilled in patient assessment, monitoring, and documentation
• Comfortable using electronic health records (EHR)
• Able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent interpersonal skills for patient and family education
