Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to pediatric patients on the Medical/Surgical unit
• Assess, plan, and implement nursing care plans for children with diverse conditions
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and health management
• Monitor vital signs and respond to changes in patient condition promptly

Qualifications

• Current California RN license in good standing
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Experience in pediatric nursing preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with compassion

Knowledge & Skills

• Pediatric assessment and critical thinking
• Medication administration and IV therapy for children
• Family-centered care approach
• Electronic health record proficiency
