Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Night, 3x12-hour nights per week, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM (3 nights/week; specific days vary)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $50 - $58 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide direct, compassionate patient care to adult and geriatric patients with acute and chronic medical conditions
Continuously monitor cardiac rhythms and vital signs, recognizing and responding to dysrhythmias quickly
Interpret telemetry strips and promptly communicate significant changes to providers
Perform comprehensive patient assessments and timely reassessments to guide care plans
Document patient status and interventions clearly and accurately in the electronic health record
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to deliver safe, high-quality outcomes

Qualifications

Active Ohio RN license or Compact RN license (compact accepted)
Minimum 2-3 years of RN experience — Med/Surg and Telemetry experience preferred
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
Comfortable with night shift scheduling and clinical decision-making in acute care settings

Knowledge & Skills

Strong telemetry interpretation and cardiac rhythm recognition
Solid Med/Surg nursing skills for adult and geriatric populations
Vital sign monitoring and assessment expertise
Proficient clinical documentation and EHR use
Effective communication with patients, families, and providers
Critical thinking, prioritization, and time management on busy shifts
