Location: Kealakekua, HI

Start Date: 07-06-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, rotating days/nights as needed

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients
Monitor cardiac rhythms and intervene promptly to ensure patient safety
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions
Administer medications and treatments with precision and care
Document patient progress accurately and advocate for their needs

Qualifications

Active RN license in Hawaii (must be currently active - we check!)
Minimum 2 years of recent Med-Surg or Telemetry experience
BLS and ACLS certifications required (bring them along)
Comfortable with 12-hour shifts in a fast-paced environment
Ability to hit the ground running and adapt quickly

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation
Strong med-surg assessment and critical thinking skills
Proficiency with Point Click EMR (we'll get you up to speed)
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to manage multiple priorities with a smile
