Location: Prescott Valley, Arizona

Start Date: 06-29-2026

End Date: 09-28-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to a diverse patient population including post-surgical, medical, and telemetry patients
Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms while delivering safe, high-quality nursing care
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support patients through recovery and acute illness
Precept and mentor nursing students, helping shape the next generation of healthcare professionals
Float to Multi Care Unit, Pediatric unit, and West Campus MedSurg Tele as needed to support patient care across the facility

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact license
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 1 year of MedSurg experience, telemetry experience preferred
Ability to pass dysrhythmia exam with 80% or higher within two attempts
Willingness to care for both MST and PCU level patients

Knowledge & Skills

Strong telemetry and dysrhythmia interpretation skills
Comfortable caring for patients with chest pain, COPD, pneumonia, and post-surgical needs
Experience with stable CPAP and BiPAP management
Ability to precept nursing students and support new team members
Flexible and adaptable when floating to different units
