Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, 12-hour day shifts; no on-call requirement
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, family-centered care to critically ill neonates in a Level 3-4 NICU
- Assess, plan, and implement individualized nursing care for a patient assignment of 3-4 babies
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and neonatal resuscitation as needed
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of neonatologists, nurse practitioners, and respiratory therapists
- Monitor vital signs, feeding tolerance, and developmental milestones while documenting in CPN/Meditech EMR
- Support families through education and emotional care during their NICU journey
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- Minimum 2 years of Level 3 NICU experience (candidates without this will not be considered)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) and BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications required
- Level 4 NICU experience is a plus
- Prior travel experience is preferred
- Friendly, outgoing, and compassionate personality to fit our team culture
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of neonatal assessment and critical care
- Proficiency with NICU equipment including Giraffe incubators, medfusion pumps, Alaris pumps, and GE monitors
- Skill in using CPN and Meditech electronic medical records
- Ability to handle a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
