Location: Phoenix, Arizona

End Date: 09-14-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM or 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM, 10-hour shifts with occasional Saturday coverage 1-2 times per month

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert pre-op and PACU care for patients undergoing conscious sedation and general anesthesia
Monitor and recover patients following interventional radiology procedures
Collaborate with IR techs and physicians during body IR cases including chemoembolization, Y-90, and vascular access procedures
Support patients through CT and ultrasound-guided biopsies, ablations, and drainage procedures
Deliver compassionate care to both outpatient and critical care populations

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact license
BLS and ACLS certification required
PALS certification preferred
Level I trauma experience required
Pre-op, PACU, or ICU experience strongly preferred
Cerner EMR experience a plus

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Comfort managing patients on vents and telemetry
Excellent communication with interdisciplinary teams
Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced IR environment
