Registered Nurse - Emergency Room
Location: College Station, TX
Start Date: 07-06-2026
End Date: 09-28-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, day and night options starting at 6:45 AM/PM, with midshifts available at 9, 11, 1, and 3. Every other weekend required.
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $55 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide expert emergency nursing care to a diverse patient population
- Triage and assess patients promptly, prioritizing critical cases
- Administer medications, fluids, and emergency interventions
- Collaborate with physicians, midlevels, and multidisciplinary team
- Interpret cardiac rhythms and respond to code situations
- Manage trauma, STEMI, stroke, and pediatric emergencies
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas or compact state
- Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room experience
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications
- Ability to pass Advanced Dysrhythmia exam (83%)
- Comfortable with common ER drips (pressors, sedation)
Knowledge & Skills
- Expertise in cardiac rhythm interpretation and advanced dysrhythmias
- Proficient in trauma, stroke, and STEMI protocols
- Experience with pediatric emergencies and stabilization
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced, high-acuity environment
