Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: 12-hour night shifts, rotating weekends every other; hybrid self-scheduling with block scheduling
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $55 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide critical care to patients in a fast-paced Level III Trauma ER
- Perform triage, manage acute and vertical care patients
- Administer medications, start IVs, and assist with procedures like chest tubes and central lines
- Interpret telemetry strips and respond to codes and rapid responses
- Collaborate with a dynamic team including physicians, midlevels, and techs
- Float between Bryan and College Station campuses as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent ER experience in a similar volume and trauma-level facility
- Active Texas RN license or compact license accepted
- Must pass Advanced Dysrhythmia exam (83%) before contract start
- Comfortable with high-acuity patients, MTP, STEMI, stroke, and trauma care
Knowledge & Skills
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS certifications required
- Proficient in central line placement, chest tube management, and rapid transfusions
- Experience with PulseCheck and Picis EMR systems
- Strong teamwork and adaptability in a shared governance environment
