Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide timely triage and emergency nursing care to patients of all ages
• Assess, monitor and document patient condition and response to treatment
• Perform critical nursing interventions such as IVs, medication administration and EKG interpretation
• Coordinate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to deliver efficient care
• Maintain patient safety, infection control and accurate charting in the medical record
• Contribute to a positive patient experience by communicating clearly and compassionately

Qualifications

• Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Hawaii required or compact status where applicable)
• Minimum ED/ER clinical experience preferred; adaptable clinicians encouraged to apply
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) strongly preferred
• Current immunizations and ability to meet facility onboarding requirements
• Professional demeanor, strong critical thinking and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN) and active RN license

Knowledge & Skills

• Emergency assessment and triage skills
• Ability to perform skilled procedures (IV placement, medication administration, EKG basics)
• Strong clinical judgment and rapid decision-making
• Clear communication and teamwork in high-acuity settings
• Comfortable with electronic medical records and accurate documentation
• Prioritization and time management during busy shifts
