Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate cardiac telemetry care to patients recovering from MI, CP, and lung transplants
Monitor Philips telemetry and interpret EKGs to catch changes early and keep patients safe
Administer non-titrating drips and manage vents including CPAP and high-flow oxygen
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team on cardiac step-down, pre-transplant, and ER overflow patients
Float to sister telemetry units when needed, bringing your skills wherever the team needs you most
Complete required SIMs Lab skills for Foley insertion and central line care to maintain top-notch sterile technique

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum one year of Level 1 trauma cardiac telemetry experience
Cerner EMR experience preferred
Must pass dysrhythmia exam with up to two attempts before start
Natural hair color and no facial piercings for professional standards

Knowledge & Skills

Strong EKG interpretation and cardiac rhythm recognition
Comfort managing CPAP, high-flow oxygen, and non-titrating drips
Solid sterile technique for Foley and central line procedures
Ability to float between telemetry units and adapt quickly
Team-first attitude with excellent communication skills
