Location: Phoenix, Arizona

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM or 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, 3 days per week, weekends included (4 weekend shifts per 4-week period)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $54 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Place patients in appropriate units across up to three hospitals with 500-1000 beds
Use critical thinking to assess bed requests and communicate concerns to charge nurse or leadership
Work with TeleTracking, Cerner, and multiple Google applications to coordinate placements
Collaborate with ED, leadership, and other departments via chat and phone to ensure efficient patient flow
Maintain zero direct patient care while ensuring safe and appropriate bed assignments

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
Minimum 1-2 years recent acute care experience (hospital setting required)
Experience with TeleTracking and Cerner electronic medical records
Strong computer skills including Zoom and Google applications
Excellent multitasking and customer service skills

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in TeleTracking bed management system
Knowledge of medical-surgical vs telemetry vs ICU unit types
Ability to work with multiple screens and applications simultaneously
Effective communication and collaboration skills
Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
